Brazoria District No. 4’s Board of Commissioners has approved revisions to the District’s Rules, Regulations, & Guidelines.  All revisions will take effect on August 8, 2023 and will apply to new submittals after August 8, 2023 only; any submittals prior to August 8, 2023 will still be covered by the current Rules, Regulations, & Guidelines.

Contact the District’s Engineer, Jarrod Aden, with any questions, comments, or concerns.

1. Click on the “MyGov” button at the top of the page
2. Click “Create a Collaborator Account”
3. Enter your information and click “Validate Email”
4. A confirmation pin will be sent to the email provided; enter the pin to confirm the email then click “Create Account”
5. Begin filling out the required contact information fields and click “Save Contact”

1. Log into your MyGov Collaborator account
2. Click “Get Started” in the Brazoria Drainage District No. 4 portal.
3. Click “Make a New Request” then select the “Engineering Department”
4. Select “Drainage Plan Submittal”
5. Fill out all required fields in the application then click “Request Project”

4. Select “Plat Submittal”
5. Fill out all required fields in the application then click “Request Project”

2. Click Get Started in the Brazoria Drainage District No. 4 portal.
3. Click Make a New Request then select the Engineering Department.
4. Select Drainage Study Submittal.
5. Fill out all required fields in the application then click Request Project.

1. Log into your MyGov Collaborator account
2. Click “Get Started” in the Brazoria Drainage District 4 portal
3. Click “Make a New Request” and select the “Engineering Department”
4. Select “Variance Request”
5. Fill out all required fields in the application and click “Request Project”

1. Once a project application has been requested, upload the documents to be reviewed
2. Click “Continue” when all documents have been uploaded
3. The Support Docs tab will open next.  Upload any supporting documentation deemed necessary then press “Continue”
4. Stage Sheets tab will open next.  For each page enter a Sheet ID.  Use the Increment or Automate tools to number or title the sheets (ex: DP1 or Cover Sheet).
5. Once all sheets have been staged press “Continue”
6. An overview of the sheets will be shown.  Review then press “Submit Plans”

1. When ready to resubmit the project, click the “Upload” button in the Resubmit Plans box within the project
2. Upload all new sheets then press “Continue”
3. The Support Docs tab will open next.  Upload new or replace any supporting documents then press “Continue”
4. Stage Sheets tab will open next.  For each page being replaced enter the Sheet ID.  Use the same Sheet ID as the previous submittal (ex: DP1 or Cover Sheet).
5. When all sheets have been staged press “Continue”
6. An overview of the sheets will be shown.  Review then press “Resubmit Plans”

1. Go to public.mygov.us/bdd4_tx or click the “MyGov” button at the top of the page
2. Log into your MyGov Collaborator Account
3. Click on your project and select the appropriate inspection from the list by clicking the “Request” button to the right of the inspection
4. Select the date & time for your inspection

1. Go to public.mygov.us/bdd4_tx or click the “MyGov” button at the top of the page
2. Click the “Requests” button
3. Scroll over “Open Records Request” and click “Request”
4. Fill out your contact information and choose a location on the map
5. Add the description of the request (be as specific as possible) and upload any photos as necessary
6. Click “Submit”.  You will receive an email with the status of your request

1. Once your application has been approved the District will issue an invoice based on the Review Fee Schedule
2. An email will be auto-generated and sent to the email that is listed as the contact.  You can click the “Pay Invoice” button within that email or click the “Payment Due” step within the project
3. Click the gear icon on the right side and select “Pay”
4. Click on “Proceed to Payment Method”
5. Ensure all contact information is correct and enter in your credit card information
6. There is a 3% transaction fee for all credit card payments.  Click the Agree checkbox then click “Make Payment”
7. You will then be able to choose the option to either print your receipt or email your receipt
